Advocare Education Session: World Elder Abuse Awareness

Wise Up, Rise Up against elder abuse!
Join us at the Subiaco Library for an education session where you can learn how to engage and help to prevent elder abuse.
Advocare is the independent Peak Body for Seniors in WA. Their services are free, confidential and unbiased. Advocare’s specific focus is to reach out to important first responders, frontline staff, volunteers and community groups who encounter older people in their day-to-day working lives. Their goal is to raise greater awareness of what elder abuse is amongst these workers, how to recognise the signs and increase their confidence to take action and support older people in our community.
The knowledgeable team will be on hand to provide you with all the information you need to make an informed decision.
