Bird-watching in Girrawheen and beyond – be an eBird Citizen Scientist
Our birds need your help. Learn how to correctly identify the different local birds, even those which look the same, and discover how to use the free, eBird app and website to record the birds you’ve seen, whether in your own garden, local park or favourite reserve. Become a bird-watching citizen scientist and improve your bird-watching skills at the same time. It’s fun!
With the possibility of bird flu spreading, it’s vital for us all to club together to understand what birds are where. Only then can we determine which ones are increasing and which are under threat. At the moment, there are no bird lists in the Girrawheen area on eBird. Let’s turn that around.

They are authors of the book “A guide to the Birds of Broz Park” and their bird garden has been featured on the ABC’s Gardening Australia TV programme and in an 8-page spread in Gardening Australia Magazine.
