City of Wanneroo and City of Joondalup Community Tour of Cleanaway and Claw Environmental Recycling Facilities
At Cleanaway Material Recovery Facility in Guildford you’ll get to see how recycling is sorted and bailed. Next stop, CLAW Environmental in Welshpool where we will be taken around the working site and look at the different types of plastics and how they are processed. Come with lots of questions on waste, recycling and plastics.
There are two pick up locations for the tour:
- 8.30am – Pick up in front of the Civic Centre/library building (23 Dundebar Rd, Wanneroo).
- 8.45am – City of Joondalup pick up – Timberlane Park, Woodvale (17 Althaea Way, Woodvale).
Please email wasteeducation@wanneroo.wa.gov.au with your preferred pick-up location.
Accessibility: please note at the Cleanaway MRF, you will be required to walk up approximately 35 steps.
Enclosed shoes and long sleeves/pants must be worn and BYO water bottle.
