Day in the Forrest 2025

Glen Forrest’s much-loved community music festival, Day In The Forrest, marks its 10th year.
Each year, the stage lights up with original Western Australian music, giving emerging and established artists alike a chance to share their craft. From indie folk and roots to rock and blues, the program reflects the diverse sounds that thrive here in the Hills.
This year’s line-up:
1.00pm – 1.45pm Brightside featuring Daniel Susnjar
2.00pm – 2.45pm Cecilia
3.00pm – 3.15pm 10-year celebration and acknowledgements
3.30pm – 4.15pm Lucas Jones
4.30pm – 5.15pm Luke Dux and the Atomic Lunchbox
5.30pm – 6.15pm Felicity Groom
6.30pm – 7.30pm Cruz Patterson
7.45pm – 8.45pm The Little Lord Street Band
9.00pm – 10.00pm Zukhuta
There will be a licenced bar (No BYO), market stalls and a variety of food trucks. You can certainly bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks and picnic with your family in the park.
There is quite a lot of available seating, but do bring a lightweight picnic rug just in case.
There is parking around the park, with limited off-street parking.
There is public transport, with the following buses picking up and dropping off just 50 metres from the event. Catch the 321 or 322 bus from Midland Station. A bus leaves Midland Station every hour on the hour. The bus departing at 1.45pm should get you to the festival at 2.05pm. Get off the bus in Burkinshaw Road at the bus stop between Harold Street and Railway Parade. This places you right where the Festival is being held.
