End of Year Celebration at Burswood Park

It’s the Annual Befriendly Festive Season catch-up! Come join the Belmont team by the beautiful Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River) to celebrate the end of the year.

Whether you have been connected to Befriend for a long while, short while or are looking for some great conversation with new people this time of year, you are welcome.

🏸 This is an informal catch up with some optional outdoor games and conversation starters. Come for a little or a long while.

🌭 There will be plenty of food provided, and we will do our best to provide for dietary differences; however, you are welcome to bring your own snacks. We will also have soft drinks, fruit juices and water.

📝Please try to RSVP your attendance to this event as it helps us with catering requirements (but RSVPing is not compulsory – feel free to come along even if you haven’t RSVPd).

👨‍👧‍👦 Kids are welcome with their parents, but please leave your pooches at home for the safety and comfort of everyone.

Something to sit on, your own cup, rug, cushions or whatever else will help you feel comfortable.

This event is totally inclusive and accessible.

**Transport**

🚗 Parking is free for 4 hours
🚅 Closest train station is Burswood station (a green and pretty 15 minute walk to the park)
🚌 Stop number 28411 (coming from the city) or stop number 14506 (heading towards the city) are the closest stops on Great Eastern Highway; otherwise the Causeway Bus Station is about 15 minutes walk
🚲 Very accessible by bike paths around the river
