House History Workshop

The most common enquiry we get at the Local History Centre is “what can you tell me about my house?” With many of the resources we use to research these questions available online and easy to use, we can put the power into your hands to find out the history of your house and uncover some of the stories that it can tell.
Come to the Local History Centre where Local History Librarian Adam will show you how to conduct your own house history, with useful tips and examples of what the Local History Centre has found before.
Bring a laptop, an iPad, or just the address of the house you are interested in!
Light catering will be provided.
