Introduction to Auslan

An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Saturday, repeating until April 5, 2025
City of Swan are excited to present the ‘Introduction to Auslan’ program at Ellenbrook Library.
Kim Kossenberg, an experienced Auslan teacher, will lead 8 sessions which teach basic skills to communicate with Deaf people in Auslan. The first session will cover Deaf Awareness training and the subsequent sessions begin with finger spelling and greetings and will cover a wide range of topics that involve simple, everyday language.
You must attend all 9 workshops in the series
Please book in as spaces are limited.Â
This program is suitable for 16+ and is an interactive language program. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event. Please book one ticket for each person attending.
