Steven Oliver | Bigger and Blacker 2.0
Acclaimed Indigenous Australian writer, actor and cabaret performer, Steven Oliver, present a reimagining of his hit cabaret show, Bigger and Blacker. Featuring original music and material devised and written by Oliver, Bigger and Blacker 2.0 is an autobiographical comedy cabaret that delves deep into his journey as a gay Aboriginal man or as Steven so succinctly puts it ‘a minority within a minority.’
Best known for his work on the ABC series Black Comedy Steven’s career spans television, theatre, poetry and live performance, with appearances at major festivals and events across Australia including the Adelaide Cabaret Festival and Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.
Helpmann award winner Michael Griffiths sings Madonna. No accent, costume or wig, just the Queen of Pop leading you on a camp journey through her tough life and tender songs. Strike a pose, get into the groove and express yourself as Madonna opens her heart.
