During this workshop, Laura will talk about what we own, how to participate in the shared and circular economies and offer creative ways participants can engage with their community for free!
From retro classics to contemporary favourites, this welcoming workshop series presented by West Australian Opera invites adults of all experience levels to discover the joy of singing together. Led by acclaimed West Australian jazz singer, bandleader, and vocal coach Libby Hammer, you’ll learn a vibrant selection of contemporary pop and retro-inspired choral works while building confidence in a friendly, inclusive environment. Come sing, connect and celebrate community through music.

We advocate Mental Wellness through the ACT of singing and community. We provide a safe place to experience the joy of singing whether you are an experienced vocalist, enjoys Karaoke, shower singing or looking for a new hobby to learn and develop your skills. Our songs are purposely contemporary, uplifting, fun and relevant. We started this venture in Jan 2024 and have already performed at two events. There is no better time to join as we are receiving an influx of NEW members in 2026. We host SOCIAL EVENTS such as hiking, sip & paint, karaoke, picnics and long lunches or dinners, where our MEMBERS can deepen their like-minded friendships.
