The Perth Markets are the state's fresh produce wholesale market, where many of your favourite restaurants and grocers source their products, fresh from local growers. Join the Ascot Walkers for a relaxed 2–3 km walk. Along the way, you'll explore the scenic riverside, visit Kuljak Island, and use a map and clue sheet to uncover interesting landmarks and hidden points of interest.
This relaxed walk is suitable for all ages and abilities, making it a great way to get moving, meet new people, and enjoy the outdoors together. Bring the whole family, invite your friends, or come along solo – everyone is welcome!
Whether you're a regular walker or simply looking for a fun way to get moving, friendly volunteers from the Ascot Walking Group will be there to guide the walk, offer support, and share their local knowledge.
After the walk, return to the amphitheatre at Pitman Park to enjoy light refreshments and a chat with fellow participants.
