Eileen was a specialist music teacher for 37 years before embarking on her new career as a Spoken Word artist. She has published 4 books of varying genres, and writes, produces and performs her solo shows. She had a successful run at Edinburgh Fringe in 2024, having sold out previews in London for her Edinburgh shows. She performed at the Freo Club in Fremantle in 2024. Her connection to Australia is when she started her teaching career there, and she feels she has come full circle returning to Australia to share her experiences through performance.

Eileen has cleared her loft. She wonders what to do with her remaining six boxes, each containing artefacts and memories from different phases in her life. Having recently retired, Eileen is sitting in the waiting room of a railway station, waiting for a train to an unknown destination. She knows she can only carry one box with her. Which will she take? Where will she go? Join Eileen in this stand-alone show as she explores life after work and what she values most.
