About the Author:

Nick Bruining has more than 37 years in the financial advice industry, acting as both an adviser to individuals through the practice he founded, and also sharing his knowledge through his many roles, including:

  • Columnist/Writer The West Australian Newspaper 1999 – present.
  • Reporter/Commentator Seven Network Perth, 2013 – 2021.
  • ABC Radio, National – Monthly, Philip Clark Nightlife, 2019 – present
  • ABC Radio WA – Thursday “Money Man, Money Matters”, 2003 – present
  • 6PR Commentator, 2005 – 2020
  • Author and Presenter “The Retirement Masterclass”

Nick was one of the earliest recipients of the Financial Planner of the Year Award.
He is the author of a number of best-selling books including Don’t Panic – Why you don’t need $1 Million to retire well, and as co-author of Don’t Panic – Aged Care.

Nick is an economist by education and was previously a lecturer at the prestigious Curtin University. He is a director and board member of the highly-regarded Certified Independent Financial Advisers Association Ltd and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics and Financial Planning) and a Diploma of Financial Planning. He is also a FAICD Director.

Dymocks Karrinyup will be selling Nick’s book on the night, and Nick will be available for book signing.

Please note, the presentation will run for approximately one hour and refreshments are included.
