The first in our “Movies that bring us together” series, documentary “Girls Can’t Surf” is the untold story of how a band of renegade surfer girls in the 1980s fought to create their own professional sport, changing surf culture forever. This session is presented by film buff, Michael O’Rourke.
This event is a Community Cohesion initiative funded through the Australian Library and Information Association, in partnership with the Office for Social Cohesion and supported by the Australian Public Library Alliance.
