Museum Mornings – Australian Rules Football and the Subiaco Oval
September 5 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
It’s football finals time and this month we are taking a look at the history of the Western Australian Football League and the Subiaco Oval. Learn about how the grandstands were built and how the oval was used. We will also look at the Subiaco Football Club and their long history as a WAFL club.
Come and see some of the items from the museums football collections including uniforms, badges, photographs, and other memorabilia from the Subiaco Football Club, WAFL and Subiaco Oval.
Museum Mornings are held on the first Thursday of the month at the Subiaco Museum with a free morning tea provided.
