Muso of the Month with Oscar van Gass

Oscar van Gass is a West Australian session musician, producer, educator and industry professional with nearly two decades experience on stage and in the studio. Having attended the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (specialising in Jazz Drumming) Oscar has dedicated much of his professional life to live performance alongside scores of local and internationally acclaimed artists of all genres, including support tours with Coldplay, Sting, Cold Chisel, Jorja Smith, Beach House, Ball Park Music, Montaigne and countless others.

In this workshop, Oscar will get you listening, playing, and collaborating with a hands-on exploration of what it means to be a multi instrumentalist, dubbed; ‘Picking up a second instrument, and why it’s a great idea.’
