RAC Community Day | WA Wildlife

Join us for a day of learning, discovery, and hands-on workshops at WA Wildlife – the state’s busiest native wildlife veterinary hospital and rehabilitation facility.
In partnership with WA Wildlife, RAC members are invited to a Community Day, dedicated to protecting our native wildlife and creating safer roads for our community.
Come along to:
- Join guided veterinary hospital tours
- Experience close encounters with resident wildlife, meeting dingoes, koalas and more
- Get hands on with interactive workshops on wildlife first aid and local habitats
- Learn more and help reduce vehicle-wildlife collisions, and support safer roads
Since its doors opened in 1998, WA Wildlife has paved the way in veterinary research, wildlife rehabilitation, rescue-to-release programs, biodiversity conservation, community education and volunteer programs.
This is a family friendly event, a maximum of four tickets is allocated per registration. Tickets are free, registration is essential, and spots are limited so don’t miss out on this unique member opportunity!
What you need to know:
- Parking is available onsite, on arrival register at the RAC marquee.

- Wear comfy and enclosed shoes, RAC will supply personal protective equipment if required.

Why this matters to RAC:
At RAC, our Vision 2030, is for a safer, sustainable and connected future for Western Australians. We’re working hard to reduce the rate of people killed and seriously injured on our roads, and we’re raising awareness through our community partnerships and volunteering programs. Each year, over 800 animals are triaged at WA Wildlife who are treated for road injuries, and we’re working to reduce this statistic, through community awareness and outreach programs.
Join us to learn more, and understand how you can contribute to positive change and give back to WA communities.
