Reducing your waste and Carbon Emissions. Would you like to half what goes into your household bins? Come along and learn how.

This workshop, presented by Shani from Ecoburbia will focus on waste – that stuff that leaves our house in a truck, and can end up in a stinky landfill creating carbon emissions. We will talk in detail about reducing food waste using various composting systems, before turning our attention to reducing single use plastic. We will even make some green cleaners and test them out!

Supported by City of South Perth, sustainability educators Shani Graham and Tim Darby will deliver this series of community sustainability education workshops with a focus on water and energy conservation, household waste reduction, smart travelling, food production at home, biodiversity enhancement and other sustainability aspects.
