Learn basic sewing techniques and construction in this friendly, hands-on workshop with Corenne from Fairy Threads and Tales. Create your very own stylish, sustainable and reversible! shoulder bag using upcycled fabrics.
Perfect for beginners (or anyone wanting a refresher), this workshop will guide you through simple sewing skills including construction, sewing, and finishing. No prior experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to give it a go. Connect with others, share what you’ve learned and explore possibilities.
What’s included
- Step-by-step instruction
- All materials provided
- Sewing machine and accessories or BYO
- A finished shoulder bag to take home, and to the shops, and out and about
BYO sewing machine if you have one (don’t forget the power cord and accessories) or use a Make-It Space sewing machine (please let us know in your ticket so we can reserve one for you).
