Singing Mamas
Singing Mamas is a worldwide grassroots movement designed to bring women together through the simple joy of singing. Founded to support women’s wellbeing, Singing Mamas creates a space where everyone is welcome — no auditions, no sheet music, and no musical experience required. Songs are taught by ear in an inclusive circle, making it easy for anyone to join in.
The benefits go far beyond singing: research shows group singing can reduce stress, lift mood, and strengthen connection with others. Babies and children are always welcome, so mums don’t need to worry about childcare.
In Perth, Singing Mamas is led by Nicole George, who runs groups in Armadale, Wellard and Gosnells. Each session blends singing with time for tea, coffee, and conversation, offering both joy and community.
