Swapping Exotic Herbs for Bush Botanicals

July 1 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Tucker Bush founder Mark Tucek will show us how versatile bush botanicals are and how we can incorporate them into our everyday cooking.

Discover how native herbs can be used as substitutes for exotic herbs in everyday cooking, adding rich, local flavors to your meals while supporting biodiversity and sustainability.

Tucker Bush was founded in 2015 by Horticulturalist Mark Tucek and currently has a range spanning 60 fruit, herb and vegetable bush tucker plants.

All of the plants in the Tucker Bush range play a vital role in our ecosystem, with some species under threat from climate change, deforestation, urban development, over-foraging, and plain old neglect.

Join Mark as he introduces how you can enrich your everyday cooking with bush botanicals all while ensuring a more biodiverse Australia in years to come.
