
Not sure how to best use your smartphone, or a particular app? Do you want to scan and email a document but you don’t know how?
Library staff can show you how to get started, with these one-on-one 30-minute sessions. Get help with simple technology-related queries. Participants may also like to work through the easy-to-follow tutorials on the Be Connected and GCFGlobal.org websites.
This is a free program for adults only. Bookings are required. Please contact the library to book your appointment.
✅We CAN help with:
✔ Learning to use your phone, tablet, or laptop
✔ Setting up email or apps
✔ Using the library’s digital catalogue (Libby, Borrowbox etc), Wi-Fi, printing and scanning
✔ Getting started with social media and online searching
❌We CAN’T help with:
✘ Fixing or repairing devices
✘ Managing banking, passwords or personal accounts for you
✘ Legal, medical, financial or counselling advice
✘ Filling in forms on your behalf
