The Object and the Objectified

ALL are invited to join and express their inner artist.

Set to the backdrop of the Museum’s rotating exhibitions, participants will have the opportunity to draw an array of fabulous models posing with objects from the collection under the guidance of tutor Gordon Mitchell.

For those without any experience or nervous about revisiting life drawing – do not fear! Gordon is here to assist and navigate you through the process!

Participants are encouraged to bring their own materials. Some paper and pencils will be provided plus a glass of wine to soothe any self-conscious jitters.

**Please note that this is a life drawing session, as such the model will be completely nude. Students aged 15+ are welcome to the session, however we request their parents or guardian sign a permission form available on arrival.

Accessibility: Venue is wheelchair accessible. We do encourage any participants to touch base with Museum staff prior to the event with their access requirements to make sure we can clarify any questions and make the space is as accommodating and welcoming as possible.
