The Vyner Brooke Nurses’ Commemoration
Join us for a moving Commemoration Service honouring the 65 Australian Army nursing sisters who were aboard the SS Vyner Brooke when it was sunk during World War II.
This solemn service will pay tribute to their courage, service and sacrifice, featuring a pipe band, ceremonial flag marching, commemorative speeches, songs and a moment of remembrance. Together, we will reflect on their legacy and ensure their stories are never forgotten.
