FreeDiscover the different species of owls found in Perth and learn practical ways to help them thrive!
Please note that this program is suitable for adults and young people 14 and over.
Photographs and videos may be taken of the event. Please book one ticket for each person attending.
Kelli from Native Animal Rescue will explore how we can protect owls and create safer environments for them.
You’ll discover:
- Owl and pet safe methods for controlling pests
- The harmful effects of second-generation anticoagulant rodenticides (SGARS) on owls, other wildlife and pets and how to avoid them
- Tips for maintaining or creating suitable nesting and feeding habitats for owls in urban places
