Thrifty bites workshop

Learn how to create affordable, healthy meals using leftovers and reduce food waste. This workshop is part of a series of hands-on adult cooking classes, delivered by qualified nutritionist Nicole Ingram from Grow Cook Eat. The classes focus on reducing food cost, minimising waste, healthy meal preparation and building everyday skills in the kitchen.

Other workshops in the series include:

10 June – Pickling and Preserving – Halls Head Parade. Explore simple food preservation techniques to extend the life of seasonal produce.

• 17 June – Soulful Soups: Tasty Cheap Eats – Dawesville Community Centre. Cook nourishing, low-cost meals while learning menu planning and budgeting tips.

• 24 June – Winter Warmers: Cooking in Bulk – Halls Head Parade. Learn how to prepare freezer-friendly meals in bulk to save time and money.
