Discover an exhibition of artworks that explore the people, places and moments that make us who we are.
Introducing TRIBUTE –a showcase of artworks from the City of Joondalup art collection that pay homage to the things that shape us. You’ll find stories of community and everyday life, alongside references to popular culture, portraiture and the environments we live in. Together, the works offer a look at the experiences and memories we carry with us.
At the centre of the exhibition is a newly commissioned artwork by Western Australian artist Tarryn Gill. Inspired by her upbringing in Joondalup and her connection to the West Coast Calisthenics Club, the work reflects on girlhood, community, and the role of sport and recreation in shaping identity and belonging.
Alongside Gill’s work, TRIBUTE features a range of talented artists from WA and beyond, each bringing their own perspective to the idea of tribute.
