Understanding electric vehicles – Online Workshop
There is lots of conflicting information around electric vehicles (EVs), which might be making it hard for you to work out whether one might work for you.
Come along to this online workshop to have all your EV questions answered including:
- Types of electric vehicles, how they work and how much they cost
- Rebates and the Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) exemption
- How to calculate if an electric vehicle will save you money based on your driving patterns
- The good things about electric vehicles and how to maximise them
- How does charging an electric car work?
- Things to be aware of on road trips
- What is vehicle to grid and vehicle to load and how would I use them?
- Can I tow with an electric vehicle?
This workshop is delivered as part of Switch Your Thinking’s Energy Efficiency Pilot Program, funded and supported by the Western Australian Government’s Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety. The City of Bayswater is proud to be a participating Council in the Energy Efficiency Pilot Program.
