WA Seniors Week – Advance Care Planning Morning Tea

This in-person workshop covers what Advance Care Planning is, how to get started and how to talk with loved ones about end-of-life wishes.
To celebrate WA Seniors Week 2024, Palliative Care WA is holding an Advance Care Planning Morning Tea in Noranda on 14 November 2024 from 10.00am to 12.30pm.
The event has been made possible through sponsorship from Lotterywest, Council of the Ageing WA and the Western Australian Government’s Department of Communities.
We all want to have a say in what happens in the last part of our lives. By making plans that cover our care, lifestyle, health and finances, we work out what we want, as well as making things easier on those around us. This process is called Advance Care Planning.
This face-to-face workshop will cover information on what is involved in Advance Care Planning, how to get started, and how to talk with your loved ones about your end-of-life wishes. It is a practical and interactive workshop where you will have the chance to get your questions answered.
Funding for the overall Advance Care Planning workshop program is provided by the Department of Health.
Who is this for?
This face-to-face workshop is suitable for any community members regardless of age, health or background. You don’t need any prior knowledge of Advance Care Planning to take part.
