Joining him will be a fire ecologist, who will discuss how to identify the right balance of fire and weed management to protect biodiversity while reducing bushfire risk.
A Shire of Mundaring Fire Officer will also share practical, on-the-ground guidance on managing your Asset Protection Zone (APZ), maintaining effective firebreaks, and planning safe, effective fuel-reduction strategies.
