Women’s Social Session @ Kwinana Recquatic
Join us for the first Womens’ Social Swim Session @ Kwinana Recquatic
This low cost session is intended to provide an inclusive and supportive social space for women and girls to engage with the cities facilities and participate comfortably outside of regular opening hours. The session will also be run by an all female staff.
What to expect on the day:
- Access to the 25 metre Lap Pool & Leisure Pool
- Connect with other local women and families
- Gym available
- Badminton / Pickleball
- Free fruit
- Complimentary Coffee/Hot Chocolate
- Bring-Your-Own Picnic Dinner (Outdoor barbeque facilities available)
- Information stalls & Giveaways
- Pop-Up Aquafit classes
- Learn about different options that are available for swimwear
(i.e. period-safe swimwear, culturally appropriate or modest swimwear for women and reuseable swim nappies for small children)
Date: Saturday 10th May
Time: 5.30PM – 7.30PM
Location: Kwinana Recquatic
This dedicated session is for women & girls:
- Open to women and girls of all ages (boys under 10 years old are permitted)
- Who are also City of Kwinana residents
- Those who may not be familiar with the Recquatic facilities
- Those who would like to learn more about adult and children swim lessons
- Please note:
- Children attending must remain supervised of the parents and care givers at all times.
- Only swim to your ability, if you are unsure ask our friendly staff!
- No admittance for males over 10 years old
