Are you an aspiring author – secretly isn’t everyone? Got an idea for a fiction or non-fiction book, or even a short story or novella? Not sure where to start? Want to share your writing experiences (good or bad) to help others, and in doing so, fuel your own creativity?
**Your Host**
Alistair was born into a Eurasian family in India but grew up in Australia. He has post-graduate degrees in psychology and business communication. He has had two non-fiction books published about spirituality, and his third book is a novel called, ‘Circadian Web’, that will be released world-wide by his UK-based publisher in August 2025 (view the [Youtube book trailer here](https://youtu.be/trUqkHTgCuA?si=u4UDmQ9pJrvHou6d)). He has been interviewed by podcasters in the US, Canada, Australia and UK about his books.
**Format**
**10:30am** – Arrive (feel free to bring your tea/coffee/muffin).
**10:45am – 11:00am**. Participants introduce themselves, what progress they’ve made on their writing journeys (if any) and what they are hoping to get from the session.
**11:00am – 11:05am**. Participants agree on one or more topics for the session. **Feel free to post your topic suggestions in the comments below prior to the meetup.**
**11:05am – 11:40am**. Alistair facilitates a group discussion on agreed topic(s).
**11:40am – 11:45am**. General Q&A and feedback on session.
