YANCHEP NATIONAL PARK – Koalas & Woodlands Trail

**Koalas & Woodlands Trail Walk**
This is the seventh of eight walks for 2025. Due to Father’s Day being the first Sunday of September, this walk will be on the second Sunday.
We’ll meet up on the sheltered porch of Yanchep Inn from 9.45am. At 10am, we’ll begin the Woodlands Trail walk. Unlike other short walks, this trail is not pram or wheelchair accessible.
This short trail heads south from the Inn and is a real little treasure of Yanchep National Park.
Winding through coastal woodlands which support a diverse range of trees including banksia, tuart, marri, stunted jarrah, sheoak and small pockets of paperbark, this walk is ideal for anyone who would like a taste of the local wildlife. You most likely will see native birds and parrots, lizards, and other small animals while on the walk. Kangaroos may be in the area. My fingers are crossed for wild flowers!
Please remember: closed-in shoes, drinking water, and sun/rain protection.
For those who can stay on, there is the option of a snack or lunch at Yanchep Inn. They do an amazing Sunday roast with live music.
I hope you can join us.
