YANCHEP NATIONAL PARK WALKS – Cockatoo Trail
**Yanchep National Park Walks – Cockatoo Trail **
This is the sixth in the series of eight trail walks through Yanchep National Park. A different trail is to be explored each month.
As usual, we’ll meet on the front steps of Yanchep Inn from 9.45am.
At 10 am, we’ll head off to the south-east to pick up the Cockatoo Trail. This will take us across Indian Ocean Road and into country just north of Old Yanchep Road.
The complete Cockatoo Trail is quite lengthy at 18km. We will walk the first part only, which will take us approximately one hour along the trail and then an hour return.
What to bring – drinking water, closed in shoes, sun/rain protection.
For those who can stay on, refreshments to follow at Yanchep Inn.
Although the walk is free, there is a fee to enter Yanchep National Park. I suggest buying a Park Pass online.
