Champagne and Gumboots

Found at the Swan Valley Central shops on Great Northern Highway, Champagne and Gumboots is a haven for those with a gluten intolerance. The 100% gluten-free bakery and café is quickly becoming a favorite among both gluten free people and those that can eat anything, as their baked goodies are so tasty, it’s hard to tell the difference.

Champagne and Gumboots is all about indulging in the good things in life, without having to worry about gluten. From the moment you step inside, the smell of freshly baked cakes welcomes you, promising a treat for your taste buds. Their selection is truly impressive. I have been following a strict gluten free diet for 7 years and things like profiteroles, custard tarts and scones are not commonly found as GF. I often swing by to grab a box of goodies to take home.

The café’s cosy vibe (and stunning sunflower mural) makes it the perfect place to unwind with a cup of coffee and a sweet snack. If you’re celebrating a special occasion (like a big birthday or wedding), their custom GF cakes are beautifully designed and crafted to meet any dietary needs without compromising on flavour.

One of the highlights of Champagne and Gumboots is their commitment to using high-quality ingredients, ensuring that every bite is full of flavour and texture, gluten-free or not. Whether you’re grabbing a quick takeaway treat or settling in for a special Devonshire tea (held on selected weekends), this café offers a welcoming atmosphere that feels completely safe. No accidental glutening here. Their vintage style teapots and china are just so cute too.

Conveniently located in the Swan Valley, it’s the ideal stop while exploring the region. If you or a friend is gluten intolerant, make sure to visit Champagne and Gumboots for a delicious and worry-free dining experience – you won’t even miss the gluten!
