Aquatic Centre

The Belmont Oasis Aquatics area offers numerous swimming options catering for novice to competitive swimmers. Our friendly staff are all Royal Life Saving Society Australia qualified and are here to assist in any way to ensure that your visit is a safe and pleasant one. The Aquatic facilities at Belmont Oasis include two indoor heated swimming pools, an outdoor swimming pool, a spa and sauna.

Facilities:

The 50m Olympic pool is ‘L’ shaped to accommodate 50m or 25m lanes. This allows for lap swimming lanes and large areas for general swimming and activities. This pool ranges from a depth of 1.2m to a maximum of 2m. The crystal clear water is heated to a temperature of 28°c all year around.

The Indoor Lagoon is an irregular shaped pool kept at a temperature of 32c°. A beach entry allows easy access into the water and gradually progresses to a maximum depth of 0.9m ideal for swimming lessons or beginners and young children of all ages. With water features throughout this pool makes it a great place for parents to bring their children for a casual swim.

The spa and sauna area is a great place to wind down after a hard day at work or to relax after a gym workout. The spa is heated to a temperature of 37°c, with the water jets and air blowers it a great to relax sore and tired muscles. The sauna is heated to approximately 85°c and allows users to flush out bodily toxins to improve health and well-being. This area is only accessible to patrons over 16 years of age and attracts an additional fee.

Belmont Oasis has safe and easy access points for their indoor pools for disabled patrons. The main pool includes a hydraulic chair lift (Maximum rating 180kg) to allow easy entry. the lagoon pool has a sloped beach entry to allow patrons to enter without climbing stairs, Belmont Oasis aquatics also has an aquatic wheelchair to allow patrons to be pushed into the water safely. The aquatics area has speciality change rooms available. Our friendly staff are able to assist if needed, however carer’s, admission is free.
