Bremer Bay is a quiet little spot on the southwest coast mostly known for its good fishing and beautiful beaches. The Bremer Bay Beaches Resort is the perfect place to base yourself for a peaceful and relaxing stay.
Although a very large and spacious park, it is designed in such a way that the sites are well spaced out over different levels so that you donโt feel like you are living on top of each other. One of the things that I really liked here was that instead of all of the sites being lined up as in some other parks, the sites here seemed almost scattered around the park, which made it feel much more comfortable. It is also very green with lots of shade from the established trees.
There are cabins available if you donโt have your own accommodation, or if you do have your own tent or van, there is a choice of powered, unpowered and even private ensuite sites. If you are in your own van or tent then you are welcome to bring along your dog, but they are not allowed in the resort accommodation. We were lucky and managed to get an available private ensuite site and the sites really are private, with foliage screening on two sides and the bathroom at the rear ensuring you have lots of privacy.
If you are camping there are all of the usual facilities; the camp kitchen is well equipped with refrigerator, microwave, toaster, kettle, hotplate and two BBQs. There is seating both inside the kitchen and outdoors with an extra 2 BBQs outside, and there is an amenities block attached. There are a further 2 amenities blocks and laundry, and for the small necessities, there is a small shop and cafe where you can grab a coffee or an ice cream.
If you are a bit sporty youโll love the tennis and basketball courts and there is a pool to cool off in after youโve finished your match, also if you have children with you there is a playground and plenty of space to kick a ball around.
There is a trail that you can take from the park that will lead you to a nearby beach or you can bike ride or drive to one of the other surrounding beaches if you prefer. Between the stunning beaches and the quiet park, I would thoroughly recommend a visit to Bremer Bay.
