Margarets Forest Holiday Apartments

Margarets Forest Holiday Apartments is situated just outside the Margaret River township making it ideal for a stay down south. It’s an easy five or ten-minute walk to shops, supermarkets, restaurants and pubs!

We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment during a recent visit to the area. For a two night stay, the cost was $458.

Check-in was easy with the staff member friendly and helpful even providing her mobile number should we lock ourselves out of the apartment.

Our apartment was very clean and had everything that visitors need for a short stay including a washing machine, dryer, oven, microwave and a dishwasher. The usual linen, crockery, cutlery, iron and ironing board were provided as well as a hairdryer. Reverse cycle air conditioning and heaters made it a comfortable stay as the weather wasn’t as warm as we have become used to in Perth over the summer.

The spacious living area, kitchen, laundry and a toilet were upstairs in our apartment while downstairs housed two bedrooms (complete with electric blankets), a toilet, shower and bath. There was a nice balcony upstairs where we watched some of the native wildlife enjoying the forest side of the apartments.

The stairs in our apartment were quite steep and would be difficult to use for mobility-impaired guests. However there are special access apartments available. These apartments are on the ground floor and feature a walk-in shower and an easily accessible toilet with support rails.

Although one side of the apartment faced the roadside, there was hardly any traffic noise. Easy access to forest trails and along the river precinct is a big plus.

Margarets Forest Holiday Apartments offer several different types of rooms including one or two bedroom, self-contained, townhouse style apartments or studio spas.

It’s definitely a good choice for visitors who want to enjoy Margaret River’s numerous attractions and who also like having shops and restaurants within walking distance.
