Mahogany Inn and Distillery, Mahogany Creek

The newly reopened Mahogany Inn & Distillery is a historic Perth Hills pub that had its doors closed for many years. Found just before Mundaring, in Mahogany Creek, new management has brought a new menu and intriguing new plans, including the addition of a distillery.

One of the first things you’ll notice when you step into the Mahogany Inn & Distillery is the warm ambiance. Its lovely bar area had plenty of places to sit with a drink, some hidden rooms have a cosy cottage feel.

With its heritage pub, a la carte restaurant, casual beer garden and accommodation, there’s something for everyone. Dine at Mahogany Inn in its formal restaurant, or out in the shady beer garden, from the casual bar menu. Whether you’re in the mood for a juicy burger, a classic chicken parmi, a refreshing salad, or a mouthwatering pizza, the options are sure to satisfy your cravings.

We enjoyed a traditional chicken parmigiana and chicken Ceasar salad for lunch.

The leafy beer garden is a perfect spot to bask in the sunshine and enjoy a meal outdoors. It can get a little loud, from the occasional rumble of a truck driving up Great Eastern Highway, but all in all it’s a lovely spot.

The Mahogany Inn & Distillery is open seven days a week from 11 am onwards, making it easy for you to plan your visit. Whether it’s a leisurely lunch, a relaxing afternoon tipple, or a delicious a la carte dinner, the Mahogany Inn & Distillery has many options.

Gin and vodka drinkers will be interested to hear about their exciting plans to introduce its very own distillery. This promises to add an opportunity to savour handcrafted spirits made right on the premises.
