Accidental Counsellor

Developing skills to help people in your everyday life that may be going through difficult times
The City of Swan in partnership with Helping Minds, are offering this free 1 day workshop that aims to provide participants with the skills to talk to someone that is going through a difficult time, having relationship issues, not coping with life, or feeling helpless. This workshop will:
- Define the role of an accidental counsellor
- Help someone identify their strengths
- Explore the differences between supporting, helping and rescuing
- Identify the desirable traits and skills for an accidental counsellor
Lunch will be provided.
