Southcamp, Dunsborough

There’s a new-ish brewery in the heart of the charming coastal town of Dunsborough. Southcamp offers a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the beautiful Southwest WA surrounds. On our recent visit, we soaked up the brewery’s laid-back vibe. The modern design, with its rustic wooden accents and large communal tables, invites you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the company of friends or family. The outdoor seating area is a lovely spot to soak up the breezy coastal atmosphere, while sipping on your drink of choice.

Southcamp Brewery’s diverse selection of craft beers are brewed by Albany legends Wilson Brewing Co, and Mr H was eager to sample what they had on tap. Be sure to grab a tasting paddle to try a range of their brews. Each beer has its own unique character, from the crisp and refreshing lagers, and amazing ales.

While Southcamp’s beers are undoubtedly the star of the show, their drinks menu also features a curated selection of wines, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring there’s something for everyone. I enjoyed a glass of Chardonay, and noted that the wine list had plenty of NZ and Euro drops, not just local wines.

The friendly staff were happy to give recommendations, pour a good selection of beers. If you’re there to tuck into a meal, the menu has plenty to choose from, including pizzas, salads, shares, tacos, burgers and more. The atmosphere at Southcamp is lively yet relaxed, making it an ideal spot for catching up with friends. If you have grandkids in tow, there’s a central grassed area for them to roam as well as a sandpit. Whether you’re ending a day of beach adventures or just looking for a great place to unwind, this brewery offers the perfect setting.
