Pinto Thai Restaurant By Six Sense, Kensington

Pinto Thai Restaurant By Six Sense

I was asked by my Rotary ladies group to choose and organise the venue for this month’s dinner, they must think I eat out a lot and know lots of good places!

Easy choice, I booked Pinto Thai Restaurant By Six Sense in Kensington as it’s local for most of us, it’s always great food, friendly service and it’s BYO.

I organised for us to have a banquet as it’s easier than everyone faffing around perusing the menu when there’s chatting and wine drinking to be cracking along with.

Our starters were the Thai fish cakes fragrant with curry paste, coriander and lime, and the deliciously crispy spring rolls.

The mains were duck red curry, pad Thai, green chicken curry, crispy squid, fried rice and stir fried ginger beef, along with oodles of steamed rice.

There was SO much food! It just seemed to keep coming and we were running out of room on the table!

The duck here is my absolute favourite dish with the green chicken curry a close second.

Everything is freshly cooked with quality produce, beautifully presented and we were all very happy (and full) little bunnies.

My photos do the food no justice as I was trying to be quick as everyone was keen to tuck in.

The banquet was $30 per person and this included the corkage charge.

I can’t recommend Pinto Thai highly enough, best to book though as it’s only a little place and can get very busy.
