Dardanup Baker, Dardanup

Dardanup Baker

In the pretty as a picture Ferguson Valley, the quaint town of Dardanup is home to a delicious country bakery. Among the area’s array of lunch options at wineries and boutique breweries – the Dardanup Baker is great for a casual and quick bite. Renowned for its legendary pies, delectable cakes, and flaky pastries this beloved bakery is a must-visit for southwest travelers and locals alike.

Dardanup Baker

You’ll smell the delicious offering before you even step through the door of the Dardanup Baker. We were greeted by the irresistible aroma of freshly baked goodies wafting through the air. The bakery has built a reputation for crafting pies that are second to none, drawing in visitors from far and wide who come to indulge in the flaky crusts and generous meaty fillings that have made the Dardanup Baker a local legend in Dardy, Bunbury and beyond.

We were there for a sweet treat, but have heard great things about their pies. They certainly look impressive – some topped with bacon and cheese! The spot opens at 5am for early birds, and we popped by near the end of their day at 2pm. Luckily there was still a good selection to choose from. The bakery’s extensive selection of cakes and pastries offers something to satisfy every sweet tooth, from rich filled doughnuts to delicate pastries. We indulged in a caramel mousse doughnut.

Grab a table or bench outside to soak in the sunshine as you savour a treat. Whether you’re craving a classic Aussie meat pie or prefer something sweet, the bakery’s menu has something to please every palate.

As you continue your trip through the Ferguson Valley, be sure to take home a loaf of freshly baked bread from Dardanup Baker. Then you can enjoy the taste of Dardanup Baker long after your visit has come to an end.

Dardanup Baker is a quintessential country bakery. When you’re in the area, be sure to stop for a quick bite on your travels.
