Midway Farmstall, West Pinjarra

Midway Farm Stall

Heading down south via Forrest Highway? Make a pit stop at Midway Farmstall. This café-cum-fresh produce shop makes a change from stopping at the sterile-feeling servo down the road.  Found about “midway” between Perth and Bunbury, this family-run business set on farmland has something here for everyone.

There are pies, sausage rolls and sweet treats by the popular Pinjarra bakery. Good coffee and soft drinks.

Midway Farm Stall

The local produce on sale sure looks tempting. It would be a good idea to take along an esky!  There is ice cream from Simmo’s, coffee from the Margaret River Roasting Co, Kwongan honey, Trenton Hill farm eggs, local jams and relishes, biltong and meat spices.

What they specialise in is their own meats, straight from their farm.

There are plenty of seating spots outside on the veranda. Or simply take away and continue on your trip.

If you have the grandies in tow, they will love an opportunity to get out of the car and stretch their legs on the fenced playground. The equipment includes slides, a climbing wall, a connecting bridge, ladders, a zip line and monkey bars, which are sure to keep the little ones entertained.

You’ll spy sheep, pigs, turkeys and more too, in the surrounding fields.  The kids loved saying hi to the farm animals.

Travelling with your dog? They are welcome here, on a leash. Midway stocks locally-made dog treats that are all-natural and raw.

Midway Farmstall is so close to the highway you can see it from the main road, it’s so easy to stop there. Towing a caravan? There is ample space for caravans, boat trailers and large vehicles to park and turn. We also found the toilets very clean, making Midway an ideal place to stop when heading to WA’s southwest.

Find Midway Farmstall just meters from the Forrest Highway at 550 Paull Rd, West Pinjarra.
