Social Manna, Victoria Park

If you love brunch, top spot Social Manna, has to be in Perth’s top 10 cafes. Found near the city end of the bustling Albany Highway (near John Hughes). this community-focused cafe offers a welcoming vibe, great coffee, delicious dishes, and a perfect setting for a leisurely breakfast, brunch or lunch.

The cafe has amassed a loyal local following. Upon entering Social Manna Cafe, you’ll be greeted by a warm space, and hundreds of novelty spoons! The cafe’s quirky, but cosy interior is adorned spoons from all around the world, as well as plenty of comfortable seating. If you like to sit outside, their pretty planter boxes and umbrellas to soften the concrete jungle.

Social Manna prides itself on its diverse menu, which caters to a wide range of tastes and has all the trendy brunch favourites you’d expect. Indulge in classic brunch favourites, including granola pots, bacon and egg rolls, and a variety of gourmet sandwiches – like the Ruben. The cafe also offers GF, vegetarian and vegan options, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The cafe’s coffee and tea options are also very good, to complement your meal, or slice of cake perfectly.

I enjoyed the “smashed avo”, with spinach on sourdough (or GF bread in my case), zucchini, broccolini, tomato, halloumi, and a healthy green goddess dressing. The herbed scrambled eggs on toast also got two very enthusiastic thumbs up.

Social Manna Cafe is accessible, with plenty of paid street parking (I believe the first hour is free?). The friendly staff are helpful and make for an enjoyable visit for all.

If you’re an early bird foodie, put Social Manna in Vic Park to the top of your breakfast list.
