Eagle Bay Brewing Co, Naturaliste

Found a short drive from beautiful Meelup Beach, Eagle Bay Brewery is a fab spot to enjoy a few hours with good brews and food. The contemporary brewery is impressive. Walk through the massive wooden doored entry, and you’ll step into a modern restaurant, with sweeping views over farmland and to Eagle Bay in the distance.

The Brewery makes many styles of beer, that are all preservative free. Pale ales, lagers and something a little different. I’d suggest getting a tasting board and choose your favourite. The restaurant has their own vegetable garden and orchard adjacent to the brewery which is a nice touch. The menu is wide and varied. The cellar door/ winery is not on a large scale so they do have to buy some fruit in, but they do offer a reasonable range to complement your meal.

Huge glass sliding doors are opened up on those lovely sunny south west days, and closed in winter months, when a big stone fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere.

For the grandies, a massive ship has been added to the existing sandpit, it’s just beautiful!

The grassy beer garden is a lovely spot to spend an hour or two.

An accessible carpark is close to the front door (with easy ramp access) and on those extra busy days an overflow area is available. Eagle Bays other house made goodies, like olive oil, are available in their small shop. There’s merchandise, as well as big “growler” bottles to take away your Eagle Bay brews.

The brewery is open every day 11am to 5 pm.
