A Good Day in WA – WA Day Festival Fremantle 2023
WA Day Festival Newman
The WA Day holiday always takes place on the first Monday in June and is now the focal point for encouraging state-wide participation in the wide range of activities and events that showcase the Western Australian spirit and our many achievements. The Shire of East Pilbara hosts it annaul WA Day event to celebrate Western Australia’s people, lifestyle and culture with a weekend packed full of free, fun activities in Newman. The Royal Commonwealth Society WA runs an annual parade in the beautiful grounds of Government House to commemorate WA Day. The event features a parade by Cadets WA and flag raising, and is an honourable celebration of our state and our history.
