Pinjarra Festival 2023

The Shire of Murray’s biggest public event of the year, the Pinjarra Festival is back for 2023. A Good Day in WA – WA Day Festival Fremantle 2023

The world renowned Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour will be the perfect setting for the award winning WA Day Festival Fremantle 2023 which will encourage the Western Australian community to come together to celebrate, share and value cultural diversity.
The festival will showcase the traditional and contemporary face of our Western Australian community through music, performance, theatre and hospitality, and will provide a stimulating cultural experience for event attendees.
Set against the magnificent backdrop of the harbour and Bathers Beach, a stellar cast of professional artists in glamorous costumes will ignite the stage and present a spectacular, dazzling array of performances representing Oceania, Asia, Europe and South America in an energy charged representation of our Western Australian multicultural community.
Date: Sunday 4 June 2023
Times: Midday through to 5.00pm
Venues: Mews Park, Bathers Beach and Little Creatures Brewing

WA Day Festival Newman

The WA Day holiday always takes place on the first Monday in June and is now the focal point for encouraging state-wide participation in the wide range of activities and events that showcase the Western Australian spirit and our many achievements. The Shire of East Pilbara hosts it annaul WA Day event to celebrate Western Australia’s people, lifestyle and culture with a weekend packed full of free, fun activities in Newman. Public Holiday Hula Hooping Yoga

I will be running a special Public Holiday Hula Hooping Yoga class at Yokine Reserve.
So… if you have been meaning to give it a go… but our regular class time doesn’t work for you… maybe now is your time.
Beginners are welcome and encouraged to attend!!!

The Royal Commonwealth Society WA runs an annual parade in the beautiful grounds of Government House to commemorate WA Day. The event features a parade by Cadets WA and flag raising, and is an honourable celebration of our state and our history.
