Wanneroo Botanic Gardens Mini Golf

The Wanneroo Botanic Gardens and Mini Golf is fun for all ages! Found throughout the lush gardens, the mini golf is a lovely way to spend a couple of hours with family and friends. On arrival at the kiosk, we pay and receive scorecards, pencils, golf clubs and balls. As a bonus, the scorecard has discount coupons attached too. The mini golf has a pensioner discount and admission concessions. We’ve played here many times over the years and it’s something that the whole family can get involved with, from grandparents to little kids.

Work through the course amongst the 5 acres of spectacular gardens. I’d suggest allowing about 1 ½ hours, to take in the gardens along the winding paths, leading to waterfalls and a pond full of large koi.

Most of the holes are shaded (but it’s advised the slip, slop, slap), the vegetation takes on a green jungle feel. At most of the tees, there are rest areas with benches allowing you to take in the birds happily singing in the trees above.

Along with the existing mini golf course, there is an 18-hole billiard golf course. This is tucked away in a “seret garden_ with lilly pad filled pond. This garden is worth a wander too. Billiard golf is fun for pool enthusiasts, where you deflect the ball off the side rails before they enter the hole.

The popular night golf, complete with light-up golf balls, is great fun on a warm evening.

Many of the trees are lit up, making quite a spectacular sight! Visit during the Magic of Christmas event for an even more impressive light show.

There are toilets at the beginning of the course and then around hole 3. Both have access for wheelchairs. There is a large parking area and disability parking too.

Afterwards, why not swing by Leapfrogs, which is open for breakfast lunch and dinner, plus coffee and cake. I’ve dined at the airy eatery many times, and always enjoy a delicious meal or woodfired pizza.
