Red Gum Cafe, Kalamunda

Located in the heart of Kalamunda’s Central Mall, Red Gum Cafe has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Just about a year old, this charming cafe offers up great coffee, plus a solid breakfast menu, mouth-watering cake options, and a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re in the Perth Hills town, it’s a great stop for a coffee date, a casual brunch with friends, or even lunch while browsing the weekend markets.

I’ve been a couple of times, for a flat white in a mug and so far found that the cafe’s coffee is consistently top-notch – brewed with care and served with a smile. Whether you’re looking for your regular caffeine fix or prefer a more indulgent latte or hot chocolate, their hot drinks are sure to hit the spot.

For those with a sweet tooth, Red Gum Cafe has a tempting selection of cakes and pastries in their chiller cabinet that pair perfectly with a cuppa. I chose a super fresh gluten free berry and white choc muffin.
