Cafe Moka, Mandurah

I first found this gem of a brunch spot, Cafe Moka Mandurah, back in 2017. My family had been enjoying a weekend in Mandurah, and we had a lovely breakfast at the waterside Dolphin Quay spot.

The bustling café overlooks the marina, and it seems more popular than ever. This time around I popped in for a coffee, as I was at a birthday gathering at the nearby Keith Holmes reserve. But I just HAD to drop in for a take away coffee!

I can report their coffee offering is as good as ever. Being summer, I ordered an iced latte and their Toby’s Estate roast really hit the spot. An iced latte is an “healthy” iced coffee, minus the ice cream and whipped cream. It was excellent.

Café Moka still sports an all-day breakfast menu with many a tastebud tempting dish. Think house made bircher muesli, sweet potato latke, big brekkys and much more. Plus, their chiller cabinet is well stocked with cakes and treats, sandwhiches and other savory options. I was pleased that there were plenty of gluten free bites too.

For the grandies, there’s a kids menu, as well as high chairs available for little ones.

I can’t comment on what the dishes are like today, but the café does retain a very high Google review stars. This makes me think it’s still top quality. Here’s a throwback photo of this show stopping shakshouka I ate there a few years ago. A similar version is still on their menu.

My trip to Dolphin Quay reminded me what a brilliant spot Café Moka is, and I must revisit their tasty menu again soon.
