Another weekend, another market. Today I went to Perth City Farm which is a 28-year-old Urban Farm located on a half-hectare site in East Perth. It is a vibrant community-orientated platform that provides space and opportunities to build community connections and educates and enables people to live sustainably.

I had heaps of things to take along for recycling, and I’d heard they do good coffee, and they do!

I had a very good long macchiato and a bite-size brownie to go with it which was perfect.
Sitting outside under the trees with a coffee and a feathered friend for company was a great start to the day.

Perth City Farm has everything you’d expect from a Farmers Market; fruit and veg, fresh fish, craft stalls, olive oil, some beautiful sour dough bread which I bought, along with some hummus for lunch tomorrow.

Perth City Farm has a lovely community feel with the veggie gardens, the cafe with an appetising menu, chess, books and all sorts of board games to while away an hour or two.
